About Account Locking

A user's account can become locked when:

Proliance Password Policy settings include options for user account locking, including maximum number of failed login attempts before a user's account is locked, and optionally, the duration of the lockout period.

For more information see "Configure Account Lockout Policy Settings".

Manually locking and unlocking accounts

If your security role has permission to read and update accounts, you can manually lock and unlock user accounts other than your own. For more information, see "Locking a User Account" or "Unlocking a User Account".
